The Housing Choice Voucher Program, better known as Section 8, allows eligible clients to rent a private market apartment or house anywhere in the BHA jurisdiction where the landlord will accept the voucher. Residents pay 30% of their income towards rent, and BHA pays the remainder directly to the landlord.
