The Housing Authority of the City of Beaumont Hereby Announces the FY2027 Annual Plan Written Comment Period and Public Hearing Date.
The Housing Authority of the City of Beaumont (BHA) has prepared its Annual Plan for public review and comment. The deadline for submittal of written comments is noon CST on June 26, 2026. The Plan will be available for inspection beginning May 1, 2026 via the internet at the BHA web site at www.bmtha.org. Hard copies will be available at all property offices as well as the central office.
The public is invited to submit written comments. Written comments should be addressed to Allison Landrum, Chief Executive Officer, and must be received at BHA’s Central Office, 1890 Laurel, Beaumont, TX 77701, no later than noon CST on June 26, 2026. They can also be emailed to landrumal@bmtha.org. All written comments will be carefully reviewed and considered for incorporation into the Annual Plan.
The Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing regarding the Annual Plan and public comments received. The public hearing will be held on June 30, 2026, beginning at 1:00 p.m. CST in the Boardroom at 1890 Laurel, Beaumont, TX 77706.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Housing Authority of the City of Beaumont of Jefferson County, Texas will be hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at the OFFICE OF THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT, TEXAS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, located at 1890 Laurel St., Beaumont, Texas for the BHA Board of Commissioners to obtain and consider public and community comments relative to the Agency Annual Plan.

The Board of Commissioners will receive public comments but take no formal action during the Public Hearing. Prior to submittal of the BHA Annual Plan to the Board of Commissioners for formal adoption and submittal to HUD for approval, the BHA will make any changes deemed advisable based on the comments received, clarifications in HUD policy, and in consultation with the Resident Advisory Board appointed to review the plan.
