BHA has collaborated with private investors to build 555 mixed finance units within 5 multi-family developments. These units have been funded with non-HUD dollars, through initiatives such as the Housing Tax Credit Program, Tax Exempt Bonds or CDBG Hurricane Recovery funding.
These units are targeted to families who are earning up to 80% of the Area Median Income, and rents are fixed slightly below market rate.
Potential tenants must apply directly at the site’s management office for these units, and each site has different occupancy criteria.
